Potato pizza recipe

POTATO PIZZA RECIPE

You can top this unusual pizza with any of your favorite pizza toppings

Ingredients:

  • 3 large potatoes.
  • 1 tube (10 oz.)refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pound sliced bacon, diced
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped red pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • Sour cream, optional
Preparation:

peel and boil the potatoes. until very tender, unroll crust and put on 14" ungreased pizza pan. Flatten dough and build up edges slightly. Prick dough several times with a fork.Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Drain and mash potatoes with milk and salt.Spread over crust. In a skillet, partially cook the bacon.

Add pepper and onion; cook until bacon is done and vegs are tender. Drain well;sprinkle over potatoes. Top with cheeses. Bake in a hot over (375°F) until golden brown (15-20 minutes) or until potatoes are brown and cheese is well melted.

Serve with sour cream if desired

Gluten Free Pizza Dough Recipe

GLUTEN FREE PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE

This is a real gift for gluten-free bread bakers!

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups white rice flour
1/2 cup potato starch
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 Tbs. xanthan gum
1/2 cup tapioca flour
1 Tbs. egg replacer
1 Tbs. active dry yeast
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 tsp. cider vinegar
4 egg whites
4 Tbs. canola oil

PREPARATION:

Large Bread Machine method: Measure all ingredients in medium bowl. Stir or whisk
well. Transfer mixed ingredients and yeast to baking pan of bread machine in the ordersuggested by the manufacturer. Press start. Help mix dough during kneading cycle.Mixture willbe very thick. Use 1 rise and 1 knead cycle if machine is programmable.Remove upon completionof baking cycle.

Oven method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a 9-x-5-inch loaf pan. Add yeast
to mix and beat in liquids. Beat 2 minutes. Scrape into loaf pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise to the top of the pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until lightly browned.

Biscuit pizza crust Recipe

BISCUIT PIZZA CRUST RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

1-1/2 cups baking mix OR Homemade Baking Mix
1/3 cup warm water

PREPARATION:


Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium bowl, combine baking mix and water and beat hard until a dough forms. Press dough in greased 12" pizza pan, dipping your fingers in flour to prevent sticking.

You can make tons of recipes with this simple baking mix, saving you time and money.

INGREDIENTS:

8 cups flour
1-1/4 cups nonfat dry milk powder
1/4 cup baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt 2 cups solid vegetable shortening

PREPARATION:

In a large bowl, combine flour, milk, baking powder, and salt. With a pastry blender or two knives, cut in shortening until the mixture looks like coarse cornmeal and the shortening is evenly distributed.

ITALIAN PIZZA RECIPE

Have a great taste with this easy recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 pound Italian sausage
1 cup Fresh mushrooms sliced
1/2 cup Onion -- chopped
26 ounces Beef pasta sauce
1/2 cup Green pepper chopped
1 tablespoon Water
1 cup Mozzarella cheese – shredded
2 packages Refrigerated crescent rolls
1 Egg -- beaten

PREPARATION:

Preheat oven to 350 F. In large skillet, brown sausage, pour off fat. Add 3/4 cup
pasta sauce, mushrooms, green pepper and onion. Simmer uncovered for 10minutes. Meanwhile, unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 rectangles.Firmly press perforations together and flatten slightly. In a small bowl mix egg and water, brush on dough edges.

Stir cheese into meat mixture. Spoon equal amounts of meat mixture onto half of each rectangle to within 1/2 inch of edges. Fold dough over filling. Press to seal edges. Arrange on baking sheet; brush with egg mixture.Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Heat remaining pasta

serve with calzones. Refrigerate leftovers

Wheat-Free and Gluten-Free Pizza Crust

This crispy pizza crust tastes so delicious that your guests won't know it's wheat and gluten-free :


1 tablespoon gluten-free dry yeast
2 tablespoons dry milk powder or non-dairy milk powder
2/3 cup brown rice flour or bean flour
1/2 cup tapioca flour
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin powder
1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
1/2 teaspoon sugar or 1/4 teaspoon honey


1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
2/3 cup warm water (105 degrees F)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking spray

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

In medium bowl using regular beaters (not dough hooks
blend the yeast, flours, dry milk powder, xanthan gum,
salt, gelatin powder, and Italian herb seasoning on low
speed. Add warm water, sugar (or honey), olive oil, and

vinegar. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes. (If the mixer
bounces around the bowl, the dough is too stiff. Add
water if necessary, one tablespoon at a time, until dough
does not resist beaters.) The dough will resemble soft
bread dough.

Put mixture into 12-inch pizza pan or on baking sheet (for
thin, crispy crust), 11 x 7-inch pan (for deep dish version)
that has been coated with cooking spray. Liberally
sprinkle rice flour onto dough, then press dough into pan,
continuing to sprinkle dough with flour to prevent sticking
to your hands. Make edges thicker to contain the
toppings. Bake the pizza crust for 10 minutes. Remove
from oven. Spread pizza crust with your favorite sauce
and toppings. Bake for another 20-25 minutes or until top
is nicely browned


You may also shape the dough into four individual pizzas.

vegetable pizza recipe

The fresh Vegetable pizza recipe


INGREDIENTS:

2 packages crescent rolls
2 packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon chopped dill weed,
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
1 cup cauliflower, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded


Directions

Place crescent rolls on a jelly roll pan and press seams together
Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Combine cream cheese
mayo, milk, dill, and garlic. Spread over cooled crust. Sprinkle
vegetables and cheese over cream cheese. Refrigerate for at least 1i/2 hours.
Cut it to Serve & enjoy at home

Prep Time: 25 minutes
cook time: 10 minutes

Veggie Pizza Recipe

This veggie pizza is always a hit.


INGREDIENTS:

1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (4-ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons commercial buttermilk salad dressing mix
1 cup fresh broccoli flowerets, chopped

1/4 cup chopped carrots
1/3 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper

1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped celery

PREPARATION:

Unroll both packages of rolls and form into a 12-inch square on a lightly greased baking sheet. Press edges and perforations to seal. Bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes; cool. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese mayonnaise, and salad dressing mix; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth and well blended Spread cream cheese mixture over crust; set aside

Toss chopped vegetables together in a bowl. Sprinkle vegetables over cream

Grilled pizza Recipe

MAKE GRILL PIZZA AT HOME

I have since learned to make pizza on a grill without turning it to charcoal!You, too, can make fantastic grilled pizza with a little effort

This is pizza made on a gas grill. The results are great, and plenty of variations would work. The trick is to grill one side of the pizza dough first, then add the toppings

INGREDIENTS:

· 1 ready made pizza crust
· 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
· 1 cup tomato sauce
· 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
· 1/2 cup fresh sliced mushrooms

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  2. Roll out prepared pizza dough to a size that will fit your grill. Place on grill for 5 minutes, or to desired
    doneness, and flip over. Now add the sauce, cheese, green bell pepper and mushrooms.
  3. Cover the grill and allow to cook over high heat for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
    and bubbly.
Sit back and enjoy your pizza!
You will be the hero of any barbeque!

pizza dough recipe

THE FRESH PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

2 1/2 cups warm water
1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
1 teaspoon honey
4 cups unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon salt

PREPARATION:

Sprinkle the yeast over the water. Let stand 1 minute, or until
the yeast is creamy. Stir until the yeast dissolves

In a large bowl, combine the 4 cups flour and the salt. Add

the yeast mixture and stir until a soft dough forms. Turn
the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead,
until the dough is well combined and smooth; add small
amounts of additional flour if the dough is stick.


Lightly coat a large bowl with oil. Place the dough in the bowl, turning
it to oil the top. Cover with plastic wrap. Place in a warm, draft-free
place and let rise until doubled in bulk, about 45 min

Punch the dough down and roll to fit into a 16-inch pizza pan
When you've topped it with your favorite stuff, cook it in a preheated
450 degree oven for 15-20 minutes

fruit pizza recipe

THE TASTY FRESH FRUIT PIZZA RECIPE

Your kids will have a blast decorating this tasty fruit pizza.

INGREDIENTS: 

Crust

1 Ready to bake piecrust (or your favorite recipe)

Filling

1/2 cup soft spread fat-free or low-fat cream cheese,
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon 1% milk

  1. Let the piecrust come to room temperature per the package instructions
    then unfold it onto a large cookie sheet or pizza pan.
  2. Roll up edges of the crust, crimping them slightly so that they'll stay rolled up Prick the crust lightly with a fork in about 20 places(allowing air to escape)
  3. Bake the crust in a preheated 450 degree oven for about 10 minutes or
    until it's lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  4. when the crust bakes, whisk together the cream cheese,sugar,and vanilla
    extract, adding just enough milk to make it spreadable. When the crust has
    cooled, spread on the cream-cheese mixture with a rubber spatula,
    bringing it to the edge of the pizza.
  5. Arrange the fruit on the pizza and don't stint on the creativity. Your kids can
    make a wild mosaic or a fruit face
